Winter Stole My Soul: 2014 Kia Soul Exclaim!
Winter stole my soul. Literally.
I had the opportunity to test-drive the 2014 Kia Soul Exclaim for an entire week, and it snowed during most of it!
I was really bummed out because the 2014 Kia Soul Exclaim does not drive well in the snow.
I learned that the hard way.
I will tell you though that on the days it was Spring-like weather here, the Kia Soul was a smooth joyride.

For starters, check out the overall design on this thing. It's like a freaking box with wheels! It reminded me of an upgraded version of the Flintstone's car– I absolutely loved it!
It was perfect for me– not too big, not too small. And as small as it appeared, there was tons of room, storage, and class to capture my heart.
I received this Kia Soul Exclaim in an interesting green color that I quite enjoyed and as much as I hated the fact that it snowed for most of the week while I had it, it offered an amazing contrast against the white snow that was very appealing to me.

The interior features of the Kia Soul Exclaim allow me to be spoiled while driving this car. There are heated-seats, which came in handy during the cold weather. I was able to install my son's car seat with no hassle, and was rest-assured that he'd be safe in this car as well during our drives. He loved it. There are also a pull-down cup holders he like to use for his drinks and they can even divide the seats too.
One of my favorite features by far was the 8" navigation system. It was absolutely flawless. The display buttons were quickly responsive with virtually no lag time. The navigation features themselves where very helpful, and during my trips on the road, it mapped out my destinations with accuracy I really appreciated– from the diagrams down to the voice guide and turn-by-turn directions.
The LED positioning lights and tail lights made visibility while driving in the night much easier. The mirrors are power-folding mirrors are so helpful, especially if you live in an area with tight streets, and the mirrors also include turn signal indicators, which is always a nice feature to have I think. I think they also add a nice touch of elegance to this car as well.
From the steering wheel, I can operate the navigation system, the Bluetooth Wireless technology, the radio channels, and my phone calls. Although it may seem distracting, this actually helps me focus more on the road because the buttons are at my fingertips, and not digging through my purse or fiddling with the navigation screen while driving.
There is so much storage in this seemingly little car. I opened the trunk and I was quite surprised. I was able to fit so much groceries in this trunk, my son's wagon, and so much more. I was very pleased. If I had this car during the summer, I would even be able to plan out a picnic and pack it all up in the back.
There was a ton of room in the Kia Soul Exclaim and one of my favorite features were the light up speakers found in the bottom of the doors. The colors change with the type of music and beats you are playing, it was such a neat feature to have and they show up really nicely during the nighttime.
The 2014 Kia Soul Exclaim had a lot of great features that lured me in, despite the way it slid around in the snow. But I know that it would be such a great car to drive again during the snowless seasons. It was a smooth ride on our warmer days, featured a variety of technological specs, storage, and sleekness that I enjoyed.
