I love trying fruit desserts recipes during the holiday season. They are super refreshing and perfectly sweet! Not to mention a great way to end your holiday party or festivities.

You can even make these for a breakfast or brunch party, too if you have guests staying the night.

This triple berry mousse gets its thickness and tang from a key ingredient: sour cream.

The first thing to do is heat up the berries in a saucepan on low heat until they reach a jam-like consistency. You can even mash them if you like.

When transferring them to a food processor, make sure they cool down completely before adding any of the dairy products (sour cream and cream cheese). While the berries are cooling down, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Then you'll want to blend together the cream cheese, sour cream, berries, and honey until it becomes nice and creamy.

Once the berry mixture and heavy cream are done, fold the berry mixture into the heavy cream until it is all incorporated. Then, serve the triple berry mousse into individual cups and top with berries and more heavy cream.

If you feel like it's not sweet enough, feel free to add more honey to taste. I like to keep this dessert more on the low-carb side so this recipe is more tangy and tart than sweet! Mmmm.
