Moonlight Yoga at the Detroit RiverFront!

Moonlight Yoga is coming to the Riverfront! Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan and the Detroit RiverFront Conservancy will be hosting Moonlight Yoga sessions at the Detroit RiverFront.
Moonlight Yoga provides a unique twist on yoga classes by providing participants with glowing jewelry during the yoga session to incorporate into traditional yoga poses. The instructor allows you to go at your own pace and do what you feel comfortable doing, while encouraging you to follow along.
Our Experience at Moonlight Yoga
We had the chance to attend the first Moonlight Yoga session of the season and my contributors had a great time. I love doing yoga, but I have never done yoga outdoors. I wasn't able to attend this particular event so I had my contributors attend on my behalf and they loved it! Based on their review, I am definitely making time to attend this week.
Overall, a very pleasant experience. Being right by the river, felling the cool breeze allowed you to relax just a little bit more. The instructor as well as the people around you allow you to enjoy yourself and encourage you to only do what you feel comfortable with. A highly recommended experience for both novice and seasoned yoga enthusiasts. I am already looking forward to the next class on August 3!

You should bring a yoga mat or towel to help you feel more comfortable doing yoga outdoors and bring water so you can replenish yourself!
Registration opens from 7-8:30pm and the class begins at 8:30pm. The class lasts until 9:45pm, so you get to watch the sunsetting over the RiverFront.
There will be two more sessions held on August 3rd and August 24th.
