It can be challenging to entertain your little one during a snow day. Especially if they are stuck inside through most the winter. That’s why winter crafts for kids are a must!
While I do like to keep a DIY winter kit for myself to stay prepared during the season, I also like to have things on hand for my little one too.
We love indoor activities, making forts, watching movies, painting, making crafts, playing games, and reading. There is so much to do indoors!

What I really loved about the Kid Made Modern Winter Wonderland Kit was that it came with everything you needed to create a fun landscape. Zach had so much fun mixing the colors for his trees and painting the penguins, which he recently saw at the zoo!
You can really tie this craft in with other experiences in your little one’s life, which is why I think it’s so great.
You can teach them about the environment and the animals that live in this setting. You can teach them about the weather conditions, how to stay warm, and even how to make a snowman!
