Thanks to Disney for sending me this palette!

Urban Decay has teamed up with Disney one more time to create an amazing makeup palette inspired by Disney’s Alice Through The Looking Glass! This palette is a limited-edition tribute to favorite characters from the film, which is now playing in theaters everywhere!

This collectable palette comes in a striking kaleidoscopic print woven with flowers, butterflies, and some inspiring quotes. There is so much dimension in this palette, which I think gives a great tribute to the film. The quote on the mirror says, "We're all mad here" and I love the addition of the clocks around the mirror. It's not a type of palette you would necessarily travel with, but one that I think would look great on a vanity. It's seriously SO pretty!

When you lift the lid you will find a medium sized mirror outlined in gold and doors that say, "I'm not strange, weird, off, nor crazy, my reality is just different from yours"– I absolutely love this quote. You can open the doors to reveal a three-dimensional butterfly which adds the perfect touch to this palette. In the film you are first introduced to the butterfly and the introduction of this butterfly in the palette right away is genius.

The actual makeup palette is hidden away in a compartment that you can slide out (it comes all the way out for easier use) and on the outside you will find another quote, "I know who I was when I got up this morning, but I must have changed several times since then." I love this quote for the actual palette because the palette itself gives you so many options and endless ways to create thousands of looks! Much like having the option to take different paths in the real world.

Urban Decay has created 20 ALL NEW shades just for this film which I thought was amazing. You can find every type of finish in here include matte, demi-matte, satin, sparkle, you name it. The colors are incredibly vibrant yet you will also find some neutral shades as well, giving you so many options to create as many looks as you want. Also included in the palette is a double-ended makeup brush which will help you with application.

Each eyeshadow features Urban Decay's Pigment Infusion System™ which is a proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade a velvety texture, rich color, amazing staying power, and ease with blendability. What I love the most about this palette is that shades are arranged by character in columns from left to right: Alice, Mad Hatter, Mirana (the White Queen), Iracebeth (the Red Queen) and Time (a peculiar creature who is part human, part clock). You can match up the columns to steal the looks of the characters from the film, or you can mix and match shades to create an endless amount of looks for any occasion.

Mad Hatter: Hatter (vibrant green with tonal micro-sparkle), Gone Mad (aubergine with pink iridescent pearl), Paradox (vibrant orange with gold pearl) and Cake (saturated blue-pink with silver micro-shimmer).

Overall, I think Urban Decay did a great job with this palette. It's so fun and I don't see how I could ever get bored or uninspired with these shades! They blend like a dream and are very pigmented. The Alice Through The Looking Glass Palette is available for a limited time only and retails for $60. You can find it on Urban Decay's website.

Inspired by the film, I decided to create a look to represent the characters Alice and Mad Hatter. Go on over to my beauty blog to check out this look in detail.

Alice Through The Looking Glass is now playing in theaters everywhere!
