Thanks to Meijer for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own. There is no such thing as “free time” when you’re a mom, we all know this– but what would you do if you had a little extra free time each day? In all honestly, for me that means focusing on my overall health goals in any way possible. Whether that’s going for a run, meditating, eating clean or just relaxing– it’s really important for me to take some time out each day to make sure I’m taking care of me, too.
I love going to Meijer as my one-stop shop because I can get everything I need in one place and that saves me so much time. I usually go to Meijer right after I get out of class and I grab all of the groceries I need that day, any last minute items Zach might need for school, and any household or personal care products as well. This really helps me be more efficient with how I’m spending my time and allows me to use that extra time for “me time”.
With my extra time I usually love planning out my healthy meals for the week and prepping them so I don’t have to worry about them later. I’ll also have enough time to get in a nice exercise session with my free time while Zach’s at school and that usually includes at least an hour to myself. Another way I like to use my free time is by pampering myself and relaxing with face masks, exfoliators, a bath, Netflix, scented candles, and some tea. I think it’s so important to make more time for mom during the week and by shopping at Meijer for everything you need in one place it’s highly possible.
