Better Alternatives for Your Baby

This post was sponsored by WaterWipes as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary products to facilitate my review, however all opinions are my own. Shopping at Target? Possibly one of my favorite things ever. I could seriously spend my entire day shopping at Target and it still wouldn’t be enough to satisfy my need to discover new things in there. I could spend my entire day at the beauty section, the baby section, the bedding section, and don’t even get me started on the stationery section! It’s all too magical for me.

I’ve honestly been shopping at Target for as long as I can remember and it easily became my go-to place for all things baby when I had Zach. They always have amazing deals when it comes to their baby products and I always found everything I needed for him from nursery room items to clothing, accessories and toys, diapers and wipes, to everything in between.

When Zach was a baby, I was always very cautious about the products I bought and used for him and one of my biggest decisions was choosing to cloth diaper him for the first year of his life. For me it was all about giving him the best chemical-free option and by doing so I could not only help him but also help the environment and my bank account! I realized that when it comes to baby products, there is always a better option than the traditional.

Let’s take baby wipes for example. Did you know there are actually a lot of chemicals found in traditional baby wipes? Well, neither did I. Granted I did rinse off Zach’s butt with soap and water most of the time but when I was on the go I was always reaching for some baby wipes. I recently discovered WaterWipes, a chemical-free solution that contain absolutely NO preservatives. In fact, WaterWipes are made with only 2 ingredients: 99.9% purified water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract. That’s it!

And that’s how it should be, to be honest.

WaterWipes are such a great alternative to your traditional baby wipes. They are durable and effective, not to mention so much safer for your little one. While I wish I had known about WaterWipes during Zach’s diapering years, I can appreciate the product as a whole and I still use them today for other purposes when it comes to cleaning him up when we’re on the go.

Honestly it just makes SENSE to me to use a product like this. Why would anyone want to intentionally put their baby into contact with various chemicals several times a day for the purpose of cleanliness when there are other better alternatives.

WaterWipes are not interfolded which allows for the sterile environment to be maintained within the package. It’s recommended that you do not relocate the wipes in an alternate container for this reason. Also, if your baby is having trouble with diaper rashes, you should try switching to WaterWipes for a more gentle alternative.
