Get Summer Ready with Jolen #BleachtoBarewithJolen
Hair removal is probably one of the most annoying yet rewarding processes in my overall beauty/skincare routine. I’ve tried a variety of methods from waxing and shaving to threading and laser, but I have never tried bleaching until recently. Each method has its pros and cons, but bleaching is probably one of the easiest, hassle-free method I’ve tried thus far.
There are a variety of options now available including the Jolen Cream Bleach Kit and the Jolen Facial Hair Remover Kit.
Jolen is the #1 selling cream bleach in the world and it’s launching its new Jolen Facial Hair Remover Kit in stores now. The Jolen Facial Hair Remover Kit is a unique 3-step hair removal system that gently removes unwanted hair on the upper lip, chin, and cheeks. It’s formulated with a soft scent technology and includes a skin guarding balm, a hair removal cream, and cleanse & soothe wipes. The Skin Guarding Balm is used before hair removal to condition and protect the skin, as well as after hair removal to moisturize and smooth the skin. The Hair Removal Cream quickly removes hair in 8 minutes and the Cleanse & Soothe Wipes wipe away the cream and hair while conditioning the skin.
The Cream Bleach product was really easy to use and very effective. I naturally have dark hair and so it’s really noticeable when trying to remove/conceal areas that stand out such as my cheeks. I was really hesitant to try this out because I’ve never bleached anything on my face before, but I was really curious to see the results. The package includes the Jolen Cream Bleach which is what lightens the hair making it almost invisible. You can use this on your face for your upper lip, cheeks, and chin area. The bleach comes in an original and sensitive formula and the process takes about 10 minutes, with the results lasting around 4 weeks.
I used the sensitive formula with Aloe Vera and quickly mixed the contents together and applied it on either sides of my face near my cheeks and jaw-line. After 10 minutes I wiped away the bleach and was really impressed to see that the hair was virtually invisible. What I noticed was that the bleach itself did not irritate my skin and it actually left my hair feeling a lot softer, too. So far it’s been about 3 weeks and I still don’t notice a change in the color, so I won’t be touching-up until the 4 week mark. I was really satisfied with how quick and how effective this method was because I think it’s perfect for the summertime.
You can also use the Jolen Cream Bleach to lighten your eyebrows to match a new hair color or to streak your hair to give a sun kissed look as well. You can find Jolen at CVS, Harmon, Rite Aid, ULTA, Walgreens, Walmart, and online.
