New! Medifast Gingerbread Soft Bake

I’m a Medifast blogger and receive products in exchange for my honest opinions.

The holidays are fast approaching and Medifast came out with a new soft bake, the Gingerbread soft bake. There has been so much hype about the new Medifast Gingerbread Soft Bake, I just had to try it out. I placed my October order the day after this new meal was introduced, so I decided it was the perfect time to give it a go.

The Medifast Gingerbread Soft Bake is definitely a meal that screams “Fall is here!”. The aroma alone brings back memories of holiday baking with my family around this time of year and it is definitely a fall staple to have on this meal plan. If you’re not a fan of gingerbread, don’t fret because this soft bake has a flavor of not only ginger, but nutmeg and pumpkin spice as well. It’s a mix of fall flavors that I enjoy and it definitely satisfies that “holiday” craving.

It tastes delicious as the flavor is everything I thought this Gingerbread Soft Bake would be. It is a lot spongier and thicker than the other soft bakes as well, which I actually enjoy. However, I must warn you that it is a little on the dry side compared to the other soft bakes available on Medifast. What I recommend is that you add an extra tablespoon of water and microwave it for an additional 10 seconds. Or you can cook it as directed and just add some cream cheese and cinnamon on top for a delicious dessert.

There are definitely other ways you can make the Medifast Gingerbread Soft Bake. You can make them into cookies, into shakes, into pancakes, the possibilities are endless. You just need to get creative. I love making it as it is because I enjoy this as a dessert. Overall, I think it’s wonderful and if you’re looking for something to satisfy your holiday cravings while on Medifast, than definitely give this a try!
