Last week, my family got the chance to go to Michigan’s Adventure for the first time and we had such a great time! Michigan’s Adventure is about 3 hours away from where we live so it’s not somewhere we can visit very often so we were really excited to be able to check it out.

We packed and loaded the car and cooler and headed out at around 10am and arrived by 1pm. We played and checked out all the rides we wanted until around 6pm and headed back home, making it home just as the sun was setting at around 9pm. It was a perfect day-trip.

We went last Monday so the lines were not at all as crazy as they would normally be if we had gone on a weekend, which worked so well in our favor because we got to go on most of the rides. My son and nephew are a year apart so they enjoyed the rides together while my siblings and I took turns on a few rides, but most of the rides we enjoyed together which was nice.

I love the variety of rides that Michigan’s Adventure offers. They have rides that are perfect for children, adults, families, water rides, and thrill seekers for every levels. There are a couple of water rides at Michigan’s Adventure, but there is also WildWater Adventure Park right next to it as well so we were able to enjoy both.

There are a TON of areas where you get food, drinks, and treats– almost everywhere you turn. There are also several restrooms, changing areas, DRYING areas– yes! Drying areas. There are a few places where you can stand in this area and it will dry you up like a massive blow dryer, it is so convenient! There are really fun carnival games and prizes too, places where you can buy souvenirs, and so much more.

Michigan’s Adventure

When we first arrived, we did a few of the rides just for the little ones and they loved it. They went on the airplanes and the elephants. Next we did a few of the family rides together. The little ones did the Frog Hopper, then we did the Giant Gondola Wheel, the Scrambler, Timbertown Railway, and Grand Rapids together. I went on the Flying Trapeze with my brother and that was enough thrill seeking for my day! My brother and sister also went on the Shivering Timbers and the Thunderhawk and they loved it! My favorite of the rides we went on was the Grand Rapids because we all did it together and it was a water ride which made it even more fun.

WildWater Adventure

There’s so much to do at WildWater Adventure! If you split up your day you could probably do all the rides at Michigan’s Adventure first and then spend the rest of you day at WildWater Adventure which is what we did and we enjoyed it. They have a lazy river, wave pools, a variety of water slides, pool areas, and so much more. My brother went on the Slidewinders and the Ride Rider and then we spent the rest of our time at the Beach Party, Boogie Beach, and Tidal Wave. The weather was so perfect for it! And I loved the tidal wave I thought it was a great way to feel like you were at the beach without the sand.

We Loved It!

Overall, we really enjoyed our visit to Michigan’s Adventure and we cannot wait to go back. I only wish we lived closer but like I said it is perfect for a day trip! There are rides and activities for all members for the family to enjoy so you are bound to find something for everyone. I really love how versatile it is and I love that the water park is right next to the amusement park– super convenient.

If you’re looking for a great place to visit with your family in Michigan or just somewhere to go for a fun adventure, then you have to check out Michigan’s Adventure. You won’t regret it.

Looks like a great spot to visit on summer vacation with friends and family. I cannot wait until my kids are a little older so they can enjoy bigger amusement parks like this one.

I was nervous about taking my 5 year old but they had a lot of kiddie rides that he loved! Some rides I had to get on with him, which ended up being really fun, too.

Now that looks like fun! I like the fact that they have something to do for everyone including the younger kids. A lot of parks are overwhelming for little kids this makes it fun for everyone going.

How have I not heard of this place?? And I live right across the border?!?! I’ve been to Cedar Point so many times that the novelty has worn off…time to go to Michigan Adventure!

Our family loves going to amusement parks. Michigan Adventure looks like one that we need to make sure to visit! The admission price is reasonable and the rides look like tons of fun! I love that they have rides for younger kids, too.

We LOVE adventure parks. We’ve got two on our Summer Bucket list, I would love to make it to this one. I do recognize that kid’s ride with the elephants, one of the parks I’ve been to in NYS has that ride, I can’t recall which one. We will have to add this place to our list!
