Gardner-White Grand Re-opening in Taylor!

I was recently invited to the Grand Re-opening of Gardner White in Taylor, MI! They re-opened after renovations and I was really excited to be able to attend. Renovations to the 40,000 square-foot store included exterior repairs and painting, repaving of the lot, new signage, interior LED lighting, trim and flooring, and a remodel of the restrooms.

I joined a few local bloggers for this event including: Jackie (Free is My Life), Amy (This Mamas Life), Rachel (Redesigning Happiness), and Laura (PB Pearls). We were picked up in a limo and made our way to Gardner White where we actually met the CEO himself, Steve Tronstein.

The store looked so great! I seriously wanted to make my way around the entire store before leaving and try out all beds haha. During the event, they had strolling appetizers, desserts, beverages, and stations for their guests to get pampered. There were also live entertainment by Jill Jack, a Michigan-based musician who has won over 35 Detroit Music Awards! It was such a nice vibe.

We had the chance to get a mini-massage at one of three stations and we also had the chance to get our makeup done while we were there, too. I already had makeup on, but the other bloggers who did it looked fabulous! I totally opted to get a mini-massage though, it was so relaxing and my therapist did a great job of pinning all my stress points. After my massage I wanted to go back and take a nap on the iComfort mattress I fell in love with, I was feeling so relaxed.

The event was open to the public as well and it was so nice seeing everyone come in and enjoy the store and what it has to offer and just have a good time. The event also benefited two non-profit organizations: Enchanted Makeovers and Humble Design.

Enchanted Makeovers is a Taylor-based non-profit that works with women, children, and female veterans battling homelessness, post-traumatic stress disorder, and domestic violence.
Humble Design is a Pontiac-based nonprofit that helps furnish homes for the formerly homeless in Taylor and the Detroit-areas.

I thought it was so great for Gardner-White to partner with these two organizations for a fitting Grand Re-opening. I had such a great time and it was so nice seeing all of my fellow bloggers again and meeting new ones, too!
