I remember when I was younger, spending the holidays with my family was such a fun experience. This easy fudge recipe brings back memories of when I would help my mom bake goods during the holiday season.

I loved to spend time with my siblings also.

We would get all snug and cozy in our pajamas, wrap ourselves under loads of blankets and watch our favorite holiday movies together. We would play outside in the snow for hours– make forts, build snowmen, and have snowball fights before coming back inside to hot chocolate and snuggles. It was so nice.

Now that we are all older, it’s hard for us to find the right time to get together because of work, school, or other personal obstacles. One thing we love to do to create memories together is baking. My family loves to bake. In fact, my sister is a baker!

The holiday season is all about creating real moments of connection and for my sisters and I, that happens while we are having a good time baking delicious holiday treats.

This easy fudge recipe will make your heart sing, especially if you like gingerbread. I made this easy gingerbread fudge that will not only make the perfect homemade gift to your loved ones, but it’s also very fun to make!

Coca-Cola at Family Dollar

To make this easy fudge recipe, I decided to head to my nearest Family Dollar to pick up some items including Coca-Cola and these adorable tins for gifting! Family Dollar is my go-to destination for quality products at a great value. Plus, they were having an awesome deal of 3/$3 on Coca-Cola, what a deal.

Not only did I need Coca-Cola for my fudge recipe, but its nostalgic packaging and uplifting spirit reminded me of when I was a child. Watching the classic polar bear featured Coca-Cola commercials around this time of year when I was a kid was a staple each winter. I remember always being cuddled around my siblings while watching these commercials and it’s no surprise that Coca-Cola is a family favorite.

This gingerbread fudge recipe is seriously SO easy.

It will be awesome to make with your little ones this season. To make this all you need are a few key ingredients: sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, spices (ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg), Coca-Cola, and an 8×8 aluminum tin.

Place the condensed milk and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds and then stir. Then place it back into the microwave and heat for another 30 seconds and stir. Fold in the spices and Coca-Cola gently and then quickly transfer it to the aluminum tin, lined with parchment or wax paper. Smooth it out and add sprinkles to make it festive! Then, wrap with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to set for a couple of hours or overnight.

Once it’s set, you can take it out of the tin and cut into squares. Enjoy this with a classic cup of Coca-Cola!
